AEVUM BROKERS

INSURANCE CARRIERS · FRONTING INSURERS · REINSURERS

Your capacity.
New markets.
A shared framework.

Connect your risk expertise with broker distribution. Our approach: structure shared programmes, make them accessible through APIs and enable each distributor to offer them under their own brand.

Let’s build a programme

01 · THE PARTNERSHIP

One shared programme.
Multiple brands. More ways to reach clients.

Brokers understand their clients and where they buy. With AEVUM, they can offer insurance under their own brand on their website, through their systems or within an authorised partner journey. Cover, pricing and acceptance rules remain those of the programme: access expands within a shared framework.

Reinsurers

Define the target exposure.

Risk appetite, reinsurance structure, limits and portfolio economics shape the proposal we develop together. Aggregate volume and risk quality are assessed at programme level.

Carriers & fronting insurers

Carry the policies. Set the boundaries.

The licensed insurer issues and carries the policies. Together, we define delegated authority, controls, servicing and the terms of the reinsurance arrangement. The insurer maintains oversight throughout the programme.

AEVUM

Connect capacity with distribution.

Programme design, distribution arrangements and technical monitoring: AEVUM coordinates partners within the agreed remit. Brokers retain their brand, advisory role and client relationship.

02 · DISTRIBUTION

Bring the offering
into the client’s journey.

An API allows software systems to exchange information directly. Brokers can integrate a quote, policy purchase or policy servicing into their own environment. Programme partners gain a common interface for applying rules and organising data.

Two areas of expertise. Open distribution.

APIs + broker-branded journeys

Broker A · website
Broker B · own systems
Broker C · partner journey

Reinsurance supports the insurer’s risk under the agreed structure. The client’s policy is carried by the licensed insurer.

A JOURNEY IN PRACTICE

A client starts on their broker’s website. Information is passed to the programme. Pricing and eligibility are assessed against agreed rules. An out-of-scope case is referred to the authorised decision-maker; a policy is issued after the required approvals. The broker’s brand remains visible and the parties to the policy remain clearly identified.

APIs, web integration or a hosted journey: available functions and channels are defined for each programme. Brokers can distribute without building the entire infrastructure themselves.

03 · OVERSIGHT

Expand distribution.
Preserve underwriting discipline.

01

Explicit boundaries

Target market, cover, exclusions, pricing, limits and territories: the underwriting framework is defined before distribution begins.

02

Assigned decisions

Automation within delegated limits, referral of exceptions and approval of changes: each decision has an identified accountable party.

03

A shared view of the portfolio

Premiums, exposures, claims, concentration and distribution quality: we agree indicators, reporting frequency, alert thresholds and the associated actions.

04

Defined servicing arrangements

Brokers may nominate their administrator, subject to approval. Mandates, data access, complaints, controls and continuity are set out in programme agreements.

Product governance, customer protection and traceability guide this approach. Commitments, delegated authority and operating arrangements are formalised in each programme’s agreements.

AEVUM · THE PARTNERSHIP

Start with a market.
Build what comes next together.

Our partnership approach: agree a distribution target, assess underwriting and commercial economics, define responsibilities, then test the journey within a controlled scope before expanding. Technology supports programme quality as well as market access.
